Quick Index Checker · Last updated: August 5, 2026
Quick Index Checker is a free Chrome extension that checks whether URLs are indexed by Google Search. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Everything runs locally in your browser.
This extension does not collect or transmit:
When you check a URL's indexing status, the extension sends a search query
(site:your-url) directly to Google's search engine from your browser —
exactly as if you typed it into Google.com yourself.
Google may process this query according to their own Privacy Policy. The extension does not intercept, log, or store these queries on any server we control.
The extension uses chrome.storage.local solely for:
The only automatic external requests are to google.com (to check indexing) and any website the user provides a sitemap URL for (to import URLs for bulk checking). Google's use of request data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Affiliate links, when clicked by the user, open partner websites in a new tab (see the Affiliate Disclosure below). Those partners have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to read them.
Quick Index Checker is free to use and is supported, in part, through affiliate partnerships. After you run a check, the extension may recommend tools we believe are genuinely useful — currently Indexly (indexly.ai) and Rapid Index Checker (rapidindexchecker.com).
These recommendations are affiliate links: if you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Recommendations never affect your indexing results, which are computed entirely by Google in your browser, and the extension does not transmit any data to these partners automatically.
When you click an affiliate link, the partner site opens in a new tab and is subject to that partner's own privacy policy and terms.
